Thanks to all who came out to help with this project. The Parks & Recreation department of Boise City recently published information regarding volunteer service in FY2010. Volunteers donated 62,506 hours to a variety of projects, saving the city an estimated $921,431. The amount of time volunteered is equivalent to 30 additional full-time employees.

Idaho Centennial Chapter participated in the Idaho Public Television Fund Drive phone bank during IPTV's March 6-19 fundraiser. Thank you to all volunteers who answered phones for this fun and worthwhile event. It was great!

School Supplies

At each PDC the Idaho Centennial Chapter organizes, a raffle is held to raise money for school supplies for underprivileged students. Each year a different, typically rural, Idaho school is chosen to receive the funds.
Rake Up Boise

Each year the Idaho AGA Chapter puts together a team to help Boise senior and disabled residents with raking their lawns in the Fall. We are signed up for Saturday November 19th, and we'd love it if you could help us Rake Up Boise!!!!!!
Our chapter will supply the hot chocolate or coffee and tempting sweet treats. All we ask is for a couple of hours starting at 9:30 am. We don't anticipate going past noon at the latest.
Please respond letting Michelle Kelly know if you are able to attend and how many people you will bring with you. Children of all ages are welcome. More details to follow as we get them in. THANKS!
Adopt-A-Highway
Through the Adopt-A-Highway Program volunteer groups have the opportunity to support ITD's anti-litter commitment by adopting sections of state highway right-of-way for the purpose of controlling litter on their adopted sections.
